A republic isn't free if its people aren't. A citizen who can't afford a doctor, who works full time and still can't make rent, who is one illness away from ruin, isn't truly free — and the equal vote means little if the same few hands still hold the purse. Standing in the tradition of the 1892 Populists and FDR's Second Bill of Rights, these ten articles demand what an honest week's work should buy: a living wage, health care as a right, a home within reach, freedom from crushing debt, and dignity in old age. The fair share, owed to the people who built the wealth.
